This product is equipped with a locking mechanism. Normally, turning it to the left causes it to spin freely without detaching. Turning the key 90 degrees clockwise engages the lock, making the unit removable. The key cannot be removed while the lock is engaged; therefore, the key is required to detach the unit. Additional keys cannot be purchased, so please take care not to lose yours. Due to product specifications, this item may not be compatible with vehicles equipped with a cap holder (cap rest).
